Free Fire OB51 Update: Events, Rewards, Winterlands 2025

OB51 Update Timeline

Every Free Fire player is eagerly waiting for the OB51 update. Here’s the complete timeline:

October 4 or 5: Advance Server pre-registration will start, and activation codes will be released.
October 8 or 9: Advance Server APK will be available.
October 9 to 23: Advance Server will run.
October 28: OB51 Update will officially release in the game.

Winterlands 2025: Mega Event and Prime Gifts

The OB51 update will bring the Winterlands 2025 mega event. In this event, players will get special Prime Gifts based on the Winterlands theme. There’s not much detail about these surprise gifts yet, but once the update drops on October 28, everything will be revealed.

Apart from that, from October 3, players will also be able to claim Diwali Prime Gifts for free. Exciting stuff!

New Ranked Year 2026 and Rewards

The OB51 update will run through November, December, and January, bringing lots of New Year–themed updates. A major highlight will be the start of Ranked Year 2026, with amazing rewards for every rank.

Theme: Rewards will follow the Stormy Ascent 2025 theme.
Achievement Rewards: For 18,000 points, 6,000 points, Battle, Collector, and Career rewards (full details will come after the update).
New Rewards: Each rank will offer free rewards, making the ranked grind even more fun.

Winter Event and Flame Arena

The Winter event will feature a special Evo Bundle, with a loading screen designed around the Winterlands theme. In addition, a new event called Flame Arena will arrive, bringing stunning male and female bundles with themed loading screens.

Major Changes in the Gun System

The OB51 update will introduce some big changes to the gun system:

Evo Guns Upgrade System: Evo guns can now be upgraded using tokens or diamonds. Another way is through spins, where 30 spins can upgrade the gun.
- One spin costs 40 diamonds.
- Upgrade chance per spin is 40%.
New Gun Skins:
- A new animation when holding a gun.
- Gun skins with scoped designs will also be added.

Collaboration with Kuldeep Yadav

Free Fire has partnered with Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav for a special collaboration, mainly focused on esports. Kuldeep looks amazing in Tatsuya’s outfit!

September 28: The Free Fire Max India Cup 2025 Grand Final will be held offline in Lucknow, and Kuldeep Yadav is expected to attend.
A special shoot with Kuldeep has already been done, and the video will release soon.

Buddy Mart Store Update and LOL Emote Return

Like every OB update, the Buddy Mart Exchange Store will be refreshed in OB51:

New Male Bundles: Riptide Vanguard bundle and a possible Free Fire World Series bundle.
Female Bundle: Riptide Trailblazer bundle is currently available, but another male bundle might be added for balance.
Craftland Token Store: Fix for the Gold Royale Voucher issue (200 and 990 tokens) and addition of new rewards.
FF Token Store: New bundle and other items coming.

LOL Emote Return:
The LOL emote is extremely rare in the Indian server and has very high demand. It may return in two possible ways:

Diwali Event: If there’s an emote-based event.
Emote Party Event: With multiple emotes including LOL.

Chances are very high for the LOL emote to return during Diwali, so be ready!

CS Ranked Season 33: Rewards

Starting October 1, CS Ranked Season 33 will bring several rewards:

Diamond 1 Rank: Cloud-themed M1873 gun skin (Reload Speed+, Accuracy+, Range-).
Heroic Rank: Cool T-shirt skin, avatar, and banner.
Master & Elite Master: Cloud-themed Pung skin and special avatar-banner.
Activity Goal: Backpack skin.
