Free Fire India Issues: 5 Major Problems Garena Must Fix

Free Fire India Issues 5 Major Problems Garena Must Fix

In recent days, several issues in Free Fire India have been openly discussed by both creators and players. Two weeks ago, Amit Bhai uploaded a video on his “Desi Army” channel titled “Something Serious,” where he talked about the good and bad sides of the game. The video crossed more than 8 lakh views, which shows how interested the community is in this topic.

But the problem is that there is no unity in the community. Some creators speak up, while others stay silent. Because of this, problems keep getting bigger but no real solution comes out.

Keeping this in mind, this blog covers the five major issues that the community needs to be aware of and that Free Fire needs to fix as soon as possible.

1. Hacker Overload in the Indian Server

Every player knows that the number of hackers in the Indian server is much higher compared to other regions. Whether you play BR Rank or CS Rank, if you reach top ranks, you will definitely encounter hackers.

But in servers like Indonesia, Brazil, Thailand, MENA, and Pakistan, this is not the case.

The strange thing is:

  • Most hack panels are developed in Brazil and Indonesia
  • Yet you won’t see hackers in their top ranks
  • But in India, they are everywhere

So the main question is:
What is wrong with the Indian server that doesn’t happen in other countries?

Solution: Bring back the Device Ban System

In Old Free Fire, Garena used to ban devices. Meaning:

  • Even if someone got caught 2–3 times, eventually their device was blocked
  • They couldn’t play Free Fire on that phone again

If this system returns:

  • Hackers won’t be able to buy new phones again and again
  • Panel users will think twice
  • The community will become much cleaner

The Real Issue With Garena’s Anti-Cheat

Between 1 to 14 October, Free Fire banned 1.5 lakh IDs. But hackers are still active in the game. So whose IDs got banned?

This raises a few possibilities:

  • The anti-cheat is weak
  • Hack developers might be getting support from inside
  • Or they already know how to bypass the system

Overall, Garena must strengthen both the anti-cheat and the device ban system.

2. Misunderstanding About New Items and Collaborations

People often say things like “Free Fire has become a cartoon” or “The game doesn’t feel the same anymore.” But the truth is the opposite.

A game stays fun when:

  • New features are introduced
  • New abilities come
  • New modes are added
  • New collaborations happen

For example, the Naruto Chapter 2 update brought:

  • Teleport ability
  • Punch
  • New cool items
  • Fresh gameplay

All these changes gave the game new life.

Think about Subway Surfers, Temple Run, Clash of Clans, Clash Royale— These games dropped because they stopped bringing exciting new content.

If Free Fire stops adding new items, the same thing will happen here too.

So new items don’t ruin the game. They help it stay alive.

3. India’s Weak Representation in Esports

When you open Free Fire, the loading screen shows top players from all over the world. But no Indian player appears there.

Why?

Because:

  • India doesn’t have a strong global esports presence
  • The community isn’t united
  • The support system is weak
  • Garena India doesn’t provide proper backing

Example: A 16-year-old Brazilian player “Rasia”

  • Earned $18,000 (around 90 lakh rupees) in Free Fire World Series
  • Appeared on the loading screen
  • Became known worldwide

Why can’t India achieve this? Because the entire ecosystem is weak.

No one discusses this enough, even though it’s one of the biggest issues.

4. Irresponsible Handling by Garena India

It’s clear that Garena India has failed to handle many situations properly. Examples include:

When the game was banned in 2022

  • No official statement
  • The brand vanished from social media
  • Players were left confused and worried

What happened to Bermuda Max?

  • It was announced
  • Heavily hyped
  • And then disappeared
  • No explanation was given

Other companies like BGMI, COD, Fortnite, Indus, ScarFall—
They all communicate openly with their communities.
But Garena India doesn’t.

This is why players’ trust has slowly started to fade.

5. PC Players Ban

This is a topic very few creators talk about, but it’s a serious issue.

Garena clearly states: “Free Fire is a mobile game. Don’t play on PC. That’s why PC is banned.”

But…

  • YouTubers in the partner program
  • Those with verified badges
  • Their PCs are whitelisted
  • They can play on PC
  • They can livestream from PC

If PC is wrong:

  • Partners should also play on mobile
  • Rules should be the same for everyone

If PC is fine:

  • Then it should be unbanned for all players

These half-baked rules create confusion and unfairness in the community.

Conclusion

Millions still play Free Fire. But if the game has to survive for the long run, these five issues must be fixed:

  • End the hacker problem
  • Strengthen the anti-cheat
  • Give India proper esports recognition
  • Garena India should communicate openly
  • Have a fair and equal rule for PC players

If the community unites, creators speak openly, and Garena takes real action, Free Fire India can once again become a top-tier game.
