Backstory

Andrew is a police officer and Kelly’s stepfather. After a dispute with his wife, Rena, Andrew divorces her and leaves Kelly and Rena behind, though he maintains contact with Kelly. When Kelly is in high school, she is kidnapped by some thugs and abandoned on an island. During this time, Andrew’s new wife dies in a bomb blast. He spends his time tracking down the criminals, which results in him losing his job.

While searching for the criminals, Andrew eventually reaches the island where Kelly was left and begins facing challenges alongside Ford and Olivia.

Andrew is not based on any real-life person; like Kelly, he is a part of Free Fire’s story. His design reflects his background as a police officer, with his clothing resembling that of law enforcement. In Free Fire, there are two versions of Andrew: the regular Andrew and the awakened Andrew.

Ability

Andrew’s ability is called Armor Specialist. When players equip this ability, their vest strength is increased compared to a normal vest, allowing them to take less damage and survive longer in the game.

Before the OB40 update, this character needed to be upgraded to level 6. However, now Andrew comes pre-upgraded to level 6, meaning any player can use his ability from the start.

Although Andrew is not a commonly used character, and his ability is underutilized, it is considered one of the best abilities for esports players.
